FAA Certified Remote sUAV (Drone) Pilot on set
Our drone production team includes an FAA certified drone pilot and as necessary, depending on the production, Creative Director, VO’s (Visual Observers), Gimbal Operator on a second remote and PA’s (Personal Assistants).
We are all equipped with radios for constant communication for maximum safety and full synchronization.
Depending on the size of the project we use 4K and 5.2K, with single or dual operators, top-of-the-line, FAA registered, cinematic drones.
We are covered by an enhanced insurance policy with liability coverage of up to $1M (with an option to extend to $5M if necessary, with an extra cost to the clients). We are also members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) which help us get access and add increased safety measures to our operations. Our productions include strict pre-flight procedures, briefings and checklists. All flights are being logged and submitted online. Depending on the airspace we are able to ask for special FAA approvals through the LAANC system.
Aerial photography productions may be subject to airspace authorizations and other restrictions.
Professionally Trained Director with Entertainment Industry Experience
Leading the team is our Director, Ofri Shmul, who has an eye for the artistic elements and the technical knowledge to bring visions into reality.
Having graduated from UCLA with three degrees, one being Fine Arts, Shmul is well equipped to bring your company’s image to the next level.
Shmul also has experience in the entertainment industry, having worked at NBCUniversal, and has inside knowledge of the process and necessary steps to creating a successful end product- be it pre-production, directing on set, or post-production.
Production Assistant with Classical Training and an Eye for Detail
Our production assistant, Adi Shmul, is currently on the pre med track at the University of Maryland, majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology. Adi was previously classically trained in ballet, and spent a summer dancing at the Bolshoi academy. She brings her sharp analytical thought to every shoot, along with her keen artistic eye. As a Production Assistant, Adi handles all communication throughout the shoots to ensure that everything runs smoothly, speaking directly with the producers and directors, to the actors and talent on set. She also brings her artistic point of view to the director and provides advice for potential shots and angles that could work well for the given project.
